Shannon has knitted this sweet little capelet for her flower girl to be. It's knit in Morehouse Merino (yuuummm) following a free online pattern. I'm sure we'll get more details on her blog soon!

Norah felted her sheep and it is so adorable!

Lisa's finishing up an awesome looking pair of watermelon socks, using Dani's hand-dyed sock yarn. I gotta get some of that yarn!

Shireen came in this week wearing this cutie patootie little vest that she says she made "ages" ago.

And then she ripped out her nothing but a t-shirt that she made just a few months ago.

There were a few mistakes that she found she couldn't live with, so she'll be reknitting it. Don't worry, Shireen, I've still got my nbat to finish too!

Dava's making mittens again! She's got a fabulous vintage pattern that she uses to make what seems like scores of mittens each year. Look at the cool vintage yarn that she's using for these!

MaryLinda's new Mountain Colors scarf looks like red velvet!

Claire loves sparkles!

Here's her latest scarf made with new sparkly yarn she found on a recent trip to Webs. Lucky for Claire, it seems like all the new yarns this fall have some sort of glitter in them.

New Knitsmith, Norah, brought in some fun pre-felted knits this week.

Johanna is making the sweetest little bear out of Debbie Bliss' new Cashmerino Asktrakhan yarn. Ooooh, it's so cute.

She also brought in this beautiful baby blanket that she's making.

Dava finished her funky green socks.

The yarn is from School Products in NYC and she finished them on her latest trip down to NYC. Way to go, Dava!

Thea, queen of yarn swaps, got this Noro Iro in a swap to make a fabulous hat from Jane Ellison's Noro Knits book. Ooooh, yarn envy.

Blogstars, Wendy and Kerstin came to knit with us this week. They're so fun!

Cheri has just finished this incredible shawl, made mostly with Noro Kureyon. She plans to donate it to charity. What an amazing gift it will be!

Dani (of the now famous hand-dyed tiger and watermelon sock yarns) brought in her current sock project.

Dava's back!

She's working on some fun socks with cool green yarn that she got at School Products in NYC.

Thea brought in two of her latest felted bag creations.

Love those colors! The second one reminds me of sunset over the ocean.

Brand new Knitsmith, Olivia, is such a good knitter that she was able to work the cables on this gorgeous sweater effortlessly while entertaining us with all kinds of stories.

You don't have to be able to talk and knit at the same time to be a Knitsmith, but it sure does help!

Gina brought her daughter in again this week and this time she had one of those plastic potholder-making loom machines. You know, the junky ones that you loved when you were a kid!

And look, another project completed during Knitsmiths!

Anna is also working on socks. There's the watermelon sock she had with her last week, a Trekking sock just like Lisa's (in fact, it was Anna's pretty Trekking sock that inspired Lisa to make a pair for herself), and now this cool sparkly sock.

She's got more of the sparkly Super Glitz yarn from Cherry Tree Hill to make another pair.

Look at this neat "cake" of yarn that Emily is knitting from!

It's unspun icelandic wool from Schoolhouse Press and it comes in what they call "wheels". Emily's using it for yet another gorgeous lace project.

And beautiful Trekking socks for herself. Lisa is such a generous person and knitter that these are the very first pair of socks she's made that she'll actually be keeping for herself!

We love it when someone finishes a project during knitting group! This week Janet knitted the last few rows on her fabulous side-to-side ribbon scarf, trimmed the fringe, and got to wear it home.
